Wishlist Wednesday. Cress

Hosted by Pen to Paper

Woohoo! Stella is back and better than ever baby! So, lately I haven't been reading as much, sadly. :( I've just been crazy busy lately. But now, all of that's about to change. So I've been thinking about what book I want lately, and quite honestly, I was coming up short, between the two library books I'm already reading, my massive book haul which I will discuss later, and all these books that Claire gave me, I'm pretty set for the rest of the summer. But, there is still one book I am dying to get my hands on!

Book Review 15. Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Book: Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
Series: Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children (#1)
Author: Ransom Riggs
Genre: Supernatural
Pages: 352
Published: June 7th, 2011

Summary: A mysterious island. An abandoned orphanage. A strange collection of very curious photographs.
It all waits to be discovered in Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, an unforgettable novel that mixes fiction and photography in a thrilling reading experience. As our story opens, a horrific family tragedy sets sixteen-year-old Jacob journeying to a remote island off the coast of Wales, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores its abandoned bedrooms and hallways, it becomes clear that the children were more than just peculiar. They may have been dangerous. They may have been quarantined on a deserted island for good reason. And somehow—impossible though it seems—they may still be alive.
A spine-tingling fantasy illustrated with haunting vintage photography, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children will delight adults, teens, and anyone who relishes an adventure in the shadows.

Musing Mondays. This Week's Agenda

Last week, although I didn't post any reviews (It's Stella's turn) I read a bunch of books. For this "Musing Monday," I decided to do a short agenda of all the books I read last week and what I hope to read this week.
